Inly School seeks an experienced Music teacher to teach in a multi-age environment (grades K-8) beginning in August, 2023. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Teach classes in music, Kindergarten through Grade 8 Teach songs, games, movement and instrumental pieces pertaining to yearlong school wide curriculum in preparation for assemblies and concerts Organize students, faculty and staff for assemblies and concerts Write and maintain lesson plans for all levels Write student comments and progress reports Attend appropriate faculty meetings and professional development offerings Maintain a nurturing, warm, objective attitude toward all children Model lifelong learning

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree Master’s Degree, preferred Professional arts experience, preferred Minimum two years teaching experience Musical Theater Background is a plus Desire to collaborate and contribute to a progressive school environment An understanding of Montessori philosophy and pedagogy, as well as an interest in current educational research and innovative practices A demonstrated ability to embrace multicultural perspectives with experience building an inclusive environment and a commitment to anti-bias teaching practices
