Description

We are seeking a passionate and committed Assistant Teacher to join our Montessori Toddler Community. As an Assistant Teacher, you will work closely with our lead teacher to create a safe and nurturing environment for children between the ages of 15 months to 2.9 years old. You will assist with the implementation of the Montessori curriculum, and help guide the children's growth and development. Support the lead teacher in planning and implementing a Montessori curriculum that is developmentally appropriate for toddlers. Assist with the preparation and maintenance of the classroom environment to ensure a safe and clean space for learning.

Qualifications

A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in early childhood education or related field is preferred. Experience working with toddlers in a Montessori setting is strongly preferred. A genuine love for children and a desire to help them learn and grow. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A team player who is willing to collaborate and support the lead teacher and other staff members. Ability to maintain a safe and orderly environment while also fostering creativity and exploration. Must be willing to undergo a background check.
