Description

Can you offer compassionate care to children ages toddler through eighth grade? Can you reassure parents and communicate with faculty and staff kindly, sensitively, and professionally? Are you a Registered Nurse? Lexington Montessori School is a vibrant and close knit community seeking a part-time (25 hours) nurse to be on our campus from 9am to 2pm everyday. We are looking to find an experienced and organized person to provide quality care and warmth to all community members.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate: -offer students medical attention and empathy in events of illness or injury -contacts families as needed and maintains comprehensive school health records that are consistent with the Massachusetts guidelines and regulations governing school health and nursing -establishes relationships with families whose children have chronic medical conditions, including life-threatening allergies -Has a track record of working well independently and collaboratively. Applicants must be licensed as an RN in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. BSN and experience with school nursing or pediatrics preferred. Knowledge of SNAP and Google Suite is a plus.
