Description

Andover School of Montessori seeks an upper elementary teacher to join an established multi-age program (4th - 6th grade) to start in the 2023 - 24 school year. Applicants should have a background in math and language arts and have a desire to provide a positive and peaceful working environment. The academic class sizes are 6 - 10 students, so the teacher has the opportunity to get to know his/her students in a meaningful way. The pace of the classroom is such that it allows students to reflect on their work and develop a meaningful understanding of concepts. This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a school that promotes the social, emotional and academic development of the child.

Qualifications

- Upper Elementary Montessori Certification from an accredited ASM training program - Three years teaching experience - Bachelor's Degree in Teaching - Excellent communication and organizational skills, technological skills in a G-suite environment - Strong classroom management skills as well as the ability to collaborate within a team-teaching model - Able to start on August 21, 2023
