Description

Inly School seeks an experienced Lower School Learning Specialist for a leave coverage beginning in August, 2023. The learning specialist works with students in Children’s House and Lower Elementary to support teacher practice and provide direct interventions to students in alignment with established Montessori curriculum and practices.

Qualifications

Strong Candidates will have: Bachelor's Degree Master’s Degree in Special Education or Literacy Montessori Degree, preferred Minimum three years teaching experience, ideally in inclusive educational settings Desire to collaborate and contribute to a progressive school environment An understanding of Montessori philosophy and pedagogy, as well as an interest in current educational research and innovative practices A demonstrated ability to embrace multicultural perspectives with experience building an inclusive environment and a commitment to anti-bias teaching practices
