The Montessori Schools of MA is dedicated to the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion that are embedded in our shared philosophy in which respect for all, conflict resolution and peace education, and global consciousness are central tenets.
We provide our members with opportunities to learn about how to apply these principles in our schools. For example, the 2022 MSM Annual Conference provided Montessori educators with opportunities to learn more about diversity, inclusion and Social Justice education from two keynote speakers:
Using The 5 Montessori Principles to Understand and Support Gender and Sexuality Diversity
Jennifer Bryan, Ph.D.
Belonging is No Small Thing: DEI and Child Development
Rodney Glasgow, Founder, National Diversity Practitioners Institute
