Description
The Westwood Montessori School is seeking a co-lead teacher, starting for the 2024-2025 school year. WMS is in it's 22nd year of providing a nurturing and peaceful environment for children 2.9-6. The school offers an authentic 5 day Montessori morning as well as early morning care beginning at 7:30 and extended day program until 5:00pm.
Description: To work along side the Lead Montessori Teacher in all aspects of the classroom. WMS is a Montessori preschool open Monday-Friday from September-June with 38 students. This position is ideal for a seasoned Montessori educator with experience to collaborate and learn in an established 3-6 environment.
Qualifications
College graduate-preferred
Experience with preschool children required
Montessori certification required
Health and Background Record Checks required
Position hours: 8:00-3:00 (4 days)
8:00-5:00 (1 day)
Total Hours: 37

Salary negotiable
10 sick/personal days per year.
CPR and First Aid training- paid by WMS.
