Description

Bridgeview Montessori School seeks a full time Lower Elementary co-lead teacher for a classroom of approximately 20 children ages six to nine years old. Ideally, applicants will be Montessori trained and certified for Lower Elementary (6-9 years). One or more years of lower elementary teaching experience is desirable. If you are a passionate Elementary educator in Montessori training or eager to earn your Montessori credential, we would consider your candidacy as well.

Qualifications

We seek a flexible, imaginative, creative Elementary teacher who can effectively plan, problem solve and work in a collaborative team setting. The ability to understand and willingness to work with a range of learning styles is ideal as we strive to serve a range of learners. A confident, professional demeanor and a sense of humor are important characteristics as well. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues and others both verbally and in writing. Above all, we look for educators who love and respect children. Start Date: September 2024
