Description

Partner with our professional team, while working under the guidance of the Director and Head of School. Hours between 8:00AM to 4:30PM, including class prep. RESPONSIBILITIES include: Preparing environment, materials, and equipment * Planning/implementing Montessori curriculum * Ensuring children are active participants in all aspects of setting up/caring for classroom * Establishing/maintaining a record-keeping system for children's progress * Preparing student portfolios, evaluations - conducting conferences * Effective communication skills * Utilizing our beautiful outdoor space in all weather *

Qualifications

Montessori age 3-6 teaching credential * Experience in a Montessori classroom * Able to get down and up from the floor easily * Be able to lift 35 pounds * Lead Teacher Certification from the Office of Early Education and Care * Current CPR/First Aid Certification * Pay range is $20 - $23/hour.
