Description

Kindernest Montessori is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook to join our team. The Cook will be responsible for the preparation of healthy, organic, and fresh meals for our infant, toddler, and preschool programs. Key Responsibilities: •Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with USDA regulation. •Ensure all food served meets health and safety standards, with an emphasis on organic and fresh ingredients. •Develop weekly menus that adhere to USDA requirements and accommodate various dietary needs and restrictions. •Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment. •Order and manage kitchen supplies and inventory. •Collaborate with HOS

Qualifications

•Previous experience in meal planning and food preparation for young children. •Knowledge of USDA nutritional requirements. •Safe-Serv Certified •Commitment to providing healthy, organic, and fresh meals. •Strong organizational and multitasking skills. •Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Benefits

$25-30.00 per hour (Based on qualifications) • Hours are 7:00-2:00 • This role includes ten paid days off (PTO) federal Holidays, and Massachusetts State holidays and vacation weeks that follow the Newton Public Schools (Thanksgiving, Winter break, February vacation week, April vacation week) • Scheduled breaks, seven paid PTO days • Medical, dental, Life, and vision insurance.
