Description
As an Assistant Teacher, you will play a crucial role in a classroom. You will be collaborating with the lead Montessori teacher to create unique learning opportunities that cater to the needs of young children while building meaningful relationships with children and families.
At Kindernest Montessori we are looking for a few special teachers that understand the unique needs of infants and toddlers. We embrace the principles of Montessori education and RIE philosophy (Resources for Infant Educarers) developed by Magda Gerber.
Our approach emphasizes respectful, responsive, and attuned care, fostering independence and self-confidence in young children.
Qualifications
●Associates degree preferred
●Two or more years of experience in early childhood education guide.
●Ability to meet all credentialing criteria for assistant teacher for early childhood teachers in Massachusetts. (MA EEC)
including clearing background checks, with required documentation eligibility and training.
Benefits
$18:00-25.00 per hour (Based on qualifications)
• Hours are 7:30-4:30 or 8:30-5:30
• This role includes ten paid days off (PTO) federal Holidays, and Massachusetts State holidays and vacation weeks that follow the Newton Public Schools (Thanksgiving, Winter break, February vacation week, April vacation week)
• Scheduled breaks, seven paid PTO days
• Medical, dental, Life, and vision insurance.
